A Journey to reckon with ...

You came as a knight in bright valour and shining armour, but now the time has come for you to move on. Deeply missed by all of us, though we tried not to shed any tears. We tried to contain the tears, but soon we realize those drops of pearls were merely pearls of blessings as you venture forth in your future undertakings. Thus, we send you forth with showers and blessings, whether in tears, handshakes, smiles, presents, memoirs, etc. I'm glad you pass by my life, not as a stranger, but a friend, a mentor with a Father's heart.

Deeply treasured now are the memories of humours and laughters you have left behind the concrete infrastructure dominated by young generations of leaders in the making. As life moves on, I truly hope we will meet again, somewhere to encourage and be encouraged. As I grow, I learn that our lives must and should be blessings to others. We have taken so much from the society, now is the time to contribute back to the society. Life in the concrete jungle out there is tough, yes, very challenging, but also very rewarding. Once we finally able to equate concrete jungle with university of society, we will also find treasures contained in jars, fragile jars. Behind each smiling faces, one will truly recognize there may be hidden agony, that only love could heal, soothe and comfort.

A journey I want to reckon with, a life that I would like to model ... I just want to say 'Thank you'. Thank you for showing me the way to love, to correct and to educate. My prayer is that we will all have the Father's heart to care and nurture these little ones. Adieu Mr Chan!!

Finally

Finally the fellowship has started back again after so long of silence. Only 12 of us came. Better than previous meetings. Hope is a good start. I learned how to look at things from the spiritual eyes. There is a hidden meaning behind every single verse written in the Word. Forgive me that many a times I just read and read without pondering what I've read. If only I'd stopped to reflect and experience on it... maybe I will end up learn more and more.

Did we realize that educations started from home? Did we even bother to find out that education originates from the Word? Maybe we do, but we neglected it. It's good that once in a while, people come to remind us about things we thought we've forgotten.

Amazing Race

Life is all about choices and decisions

is a journey far high and deep

into the unknown future ... only God knows what and where

so long as we hold firmly to ourselves

our enthusiastic heart, our fighting spirit

beating ourselves to the best that we can ever be...

we will go far in lives

climb even the highest mountains ever found

fly even higher than the highest skies

dive even deeper than the deepest oceans

reaching out and grasping a key we can't afford to lose

victory behold ... lo and behold ...

Live like a champion !!

My Life

Someone once told me that life is all about champions. Each and every one of us are champions in the making. We may have different starting point in life, but we are unique in our own identities and personalities. Some are naturally born diplomatic leaders, some are naturally born helpers and facilitators while many are just observants. At certain points of our lives, we will meet different people from all walks of life. Each of them play a different role in our lives. Many times we tend to forget that they are just part of our lives and would not be with us for a long time. They just come and go as they wish. We can always choose to be a friend to all but it is up to them to accept or reject us. After all, we can't force someone to accept us as his or her friend. We just have to accept this painstaking truth. We just hope to be able to find a listening ear and a leaning shoulder. If we can't find one, well, the next thing to do is to move on... easier said than done.
